Everyone who pre-registers within the window gets a priority position when registration opens to the public in September. 8 days before each event opens, we move your entry straight in for you, so you're set before general registration even begins. It's free, it takes a few minutes, and you don't need finalised teams. A little attention now means a much calmer opening day later.
Add placeholder teams, not just your programme name
Pre-registering your programme on its own isn't enough. We can only hold a team's priority spot if there's a team to move across, so add a quick placeholder (Express) team for every team you think you'll bring, even if you haven't finalised the roster yet. Best guesses are perfect. A programme with zero teams has nothing for us to transfer when registration opens.
What Pre-Registration is
The big reason to do it: pre-registering now earns your programme priority registration when events open to the public in September. Instead of racing the clock on opening day, you let us know in advance which events you're attending and roughly who you're bringing.
You do not need finalised rosters. Quick placeholder ("Express") teams with your best guess are all it takes, there's nothing to pay, and nothing is locked in. It puts your programme first in line, and it helps us build a better event around the teams we know are coming.

You're first in line
Pre-register within the window (22 July through midnight on Sunday 9 August) and your programme gets a priority position when events open to the public in September. 8 days before each event opens, we'll email you one simple question: are you still in? Reply yes and we move your entry into the event for you. No opening-day scramble, nothing for you to do but reply.
It helps us build your best event
The more accurate your pre-registration, the better we can predict the General Schedule (which divisions run on which days), and the better we can plan judging panels, flooring and all the logistics that keep your experience Legacy Excellence. Your best guesses are genuinely useful, so don't worry about being exact.

How to pre-register
Pre-registration is open now and closes at midnight on Sunday 9 August. It's free, and it only takes a few minutes.
In the left-hand menu, go to Teams.
Click the grey button "+ Create Express Team without Roster."
Give the team a name and a type (e.g. Elite, Novice, Prep).
Enter the number of athletes you expect that team to have. Just make your best guess; you can change it later.
OptionalEnter expected numbers of male athletes and crossovers. You can leave these blank. One exception: if you want a Coed division to be available, enter 1 or higher in the "Males" box.

Select the event you want to pre-register for.
Remember: every detail can be changed later, so best guesses are perfect for now.
What happens next
Once pre-registration closes, here's what to expect. The dates for each event are in the chart below.
Preliminary schedule posted
Around Wednesday 12 August, we'll post a preliminary General Schedule on the public and coach event pages, so parents and athletes see it when you do.
Your "Option to Transfer" email
8 days before each event opens, everyone who pre-registered gets an email asking one thing: are you still in? Reply yes and we move your entry into the actual event for you.
It's all yours
Build and edit rosters, confirm athletes, and finalise your divisions and team details right on your RegChamp dashboard. Reply no or miss the date, and we simply remove your pre-registration.
Missed the pre-reg window altogether? No problem. You're welcome to register when the event opens to everyone.
